Analytical Chemistry Engineering Manager (Remote, United States)

Bureau Veritas Group is seeking an Analytical Chemistry Engineering Manager to support consumer-product testing, regulatory services, and technical governance across the Americas. The role leads service development, testing methodologies, and client-focused technical support.

Description

  • Support technical, client, and business-line activities across the Americas and the global business line
  • Advance technical services, strategy, product development, global processes, capacity planning, and technical governance
  • Identify product and revenue opportunities through service expansion, development initiatives, and customer inquiries
  • Oversee the technical aspects of global regulatory services supporting customers in the Americas
  • Deliver technical opinions, interpretations, and recommendations to clients and colleagues
  • Maintain and enhance quality systems and technical service processes
  • Address technical questions submitted through the Tech Inquiry Mailbox
  • Create SOPs, analytical methods, work instructions, and standard interpretation practices
  • Design and deliver technical training for internal and external audiences
  • Track regulations and industry standards while updating or creating testing methodologies
  • Resolve technical issues across regional sites and client engagements
  • Improve client satisfaction in partnership with Lab Managers, Directors, and Business Development teams
  • Provide regulatory interpretations and support the sale of knowledge products
  • Establish relationships with industry and multistakeholder organizations, government agencies, and clients
  • Create technical marketing materials, contribute to RFPs, and integrate new services
  • Lead the rollout of new, repackaged, and expanded technical services
  • Maintain accurate and consistent testing methods and compliance with global methodologies across the Americas
  • Oversee audits and correlation programs, assist with complaint investigations, and align testing capacity with sales and marketing plans

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in a related discipline is required
  • At least five years of experience in customer service or direct customer-facing work
  • Two to three years of relevant experience in the assigned service line or a related discipline
  • More than ten years of relevant experience in the assigned service line or a related discipline
  • Five years of experience in marketing, product development, or business development
  • Advanced knowledge of analytical chemistry concepts, processes, and equipment
  • Ability to interpret applicable regulations and standards
  • Strong mathematical ability and practical knowledge of statistical procedures
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Lotus Notes, and statistical software
  • Working familiarity with laboratory instrumentation and equipment
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% within the United States, with limited international travel
