- Manage a team of Verification & Validation and Integration Engineers
- Partner with systems, hardware, and software engineering teams to establish testable, traceable requirements
- Set minimum testable requirements after design or requirement changes using risk-based methods
- Create and execute V&V strategies and master system test plans for complex medical devices
- Direct investigation, integration, reliability, formal verification, and validation testing
- Produce system-level V&V documentation, summary reports, and verification results
- Evaluate and approve subsystem verification deliverables
- Develop, validate, and implement manual and automated testing methods
- Coordinate external testing providers, including NRTLs, EMC facilities, and restricted-materials laboratories
- Manage robotics test laboratories, including calibration, maintenance, safety, quality, and compliance
- Maintain compliance with FDA, ISO, and IEC regulatory standards
- Contribute to design transfer, product launches, and complaint investigations
- Resolve non-conformances, deviations, and test failures through root-cause analysis and corrective actions
- Work with regulatory, quality, and manufacturing teams during audits and inspections
- Assess product-development critical paths, bottlenecks, and risks
- Assist with project resource allocation and schedule planning

- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in biomedical engineering, systems engineering, electrical engineering, or a related discipline
- At least 7 years of V&V engineering experience in the medical device industry
- Strong knowledge of systems engineering and product development lifecycle models, including V-model, waterfall, and Agile
- Experience using requirements management platforms such as DOORS, Jama, or Polarion
- Class II or Class III medical device experience preferred
- Knowledge of embedded systems, firmware or software testing, or electromechanical systems is advantageous
- Familiarity with test automation tools and scripting languages such as Python, LabVIEW, or MATLAB
- Strong technical writing and communication abilities
- CQE, CQA, or Six Sigma certification is advantageous
- Proficiency in sample-size calculation and statistical data analysis methods
