- Create and refine employee reports, calculated fields, dashboards, and discovery boards in Workday and related tools.
- Work with stakeholders to turn reporting needs into technical solutions and useful insights.
- Handle HR reporting questions and ad hoc requests as the initial contact.
- Analyze data to inform strategic HR decisions.
- Provide and maintain self-service dashboards and scheduled reports across the organization.
- Improve reporting workflows by identifying automation and efficiency gains.
- Validate HR data for audits, supporting accuracy and consistency across systems.
- Build and use EIBs for bulk data updates and data quality support.
- Maintain basic system settings, including business processes, validation rules, conditions, and alerts.
- Document reporting workflows, data definitions, and report catalogues.
- Keep up with Workday releases and established industry practices.
- Assist the HR Systems team with daily requests, system upkeep, and special projects.
- Report to the Senior Manager of HR Systems.
आवश्यकताएँ
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in computer science, human resources, data analytics, information systems management, or a related field.
- At least three years of progressive experience in HR reporting and data analytics using Workday.
- Advanced Workday reporting skills, including advanced, matrix, trending, and composite reports, calculated fields, dashboards, and discovery boards.
- A solid grounding in Workday security and configuration, particularly for report design and access.
- Proficiency with Workday Report Writer, Calculated Fields, Advanced Reports, and Dashboards.
- Strong understanding of HR strategy and systems across HR functions.
- Experience with HR measures such as turnover, headcount, DEIB, and workforce planning.
- Demonstrated experience creating, maintaining, and launching EIBs for bulk data updates.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accurate data.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and competing priorities in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a focus on client service and end-user experience.
- Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills, including the ability to navigate and improve complex systems, workflows, and data-driven processes.
- Ability to protect confidential and sensitive information, with familiarity with privacy and compliance standards such as PIPEDA.
- Fluent English communication skills.
- Workday Pro HCM Reporting Certification is an asset.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI is an asset.
- French bilingualism is an asset.
