Help Desk Support Engineer
Support CHAI’s global health programs by maintaining Microsoft 365, Azure AD, devices, and networks. Assist users locally and worldwide with technical issues.
विवरण
- Manage Office 365, Azure AD, and local Active Directory accounts to maintain secure, accurate user access.
- Troubleshoot desktop, laptop, mobile device, and network issues, escalating when needed.
- Support field staff using Windows 11 and macOS with proactive guidance and training.
- Provide in-person hardware and software help to local users and remote assistance worldwide by phone, email, and the helpdesk system.
- Resolve support issues promptly or refer them to the appropriate technical staff.
- Coordinate with vendors to order equipment and software.
- Install, upgrade, maintain, and troubleshoot printers, computers, and approved peripherals.
- Maintain standard software setups by troubleshooting and configuring images, supported applications, and drivers.
- Create and update documentation regularly.
- Record support requests, resolutions, and system configurations.
- Work with IT colleagues and other departments to identify and address recurring issues.
- Contribute to IT projects and process improvement efforts.
- Work with a small team and colleagues distributed around the world.
- Handle other duties as assigned.
आवश्यकताएँ
- Bachelor’s degree, or a secondary school diploma or equivalent plus three years of relevant experience, or equivalent overall work experience.
- At least three years of experience supporting users on Windows 11 and Microsoft 365 (O365) or later.
- Experience with macOS is an advantage.
- Basic (L1) knowledge of AI tools is an advantage but is not required.
- Demonstrated experience as an IT help desk engineer or in a similar support role.
- Working knowledge of anti-spam, antivirus, and encryption software.
