Linux Technical Support Engineer — Virtuozzo (Remote, Serbia)
Provide second-level Linux support for Virtuozzo infrastructure software in a remote contract role based in Serbia. Resolve customer issues, strengthen product knowledge, and share technical insights that help improve cloud solutions.

- Resolve customer issues through second-level technical support, coordinating investigations, evaluations, troubleshooting, and solutions.
- Partner with customer technical contacts and internal teams to address reported problems.
- Assess product, system, and service performance and reliability in response to customer needs.
- Handle customer communications and provide timely feedback in line with quality standards, satisfaction goals, and SLAs.
- Keep internal and external knowledge bases current with Virtuozzo product information and troubleshooting guidance.
- Build advanced Linux expertise through training and guidance from experienced support engineers.
- Develop an understanding of how service providers and enterprises use Linux-based infrastructure worldwide.
- Work with customers across global markets while strengthening technical communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Share actionable feedback with Engineering to support ongoing improvements to Virtuozzo products.
Talablar
- Motivation to develop as an IT professional, particularly through advanced Linux expertise.
- Working knowledge of operating system structure and Linux configuration.
- Hands-on experience installing, configuring, upgrading, and maintaining Linux systems.
- Experience configuring networking and network services in Linux environments.
- Familiarity with Linux troubleshooting and monitoring utilities.
- Upper-intermediate or higher English proficiency.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Composure and focus when investigating and resolving technical problems.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenStack is advantageous.
- Red Hat or LPI certification is highly advantageous.
