Senior Marketing Data Scientist - Credit Card Marketing

Descriere

  • Create and refine marketing strategies for the client’s credit card business
  • Support growth across business and member products through analysis, modeling, strategy development, and cross-channel performance tracking
  • Partner with marketing managers, channel owners, business leaders, and external collaborators on opportunities and initiatives
  • Evaluate funnel efficiency, CPA, ROI, and other measures of marketing performance, then recommend data-informed improvements
  • Plan, analyze, and interpret A/B tests and quasi-experiments
  • Design and validate campaign workflows spanning data pipelines, model scoring, execution, audience selection, and file ingestion
  • Establish KPIs, reporting structures, and self-service dashboards
  • Oversee direct mail campaigns from planning through execution, including prescreened and invitation-to-apply programs
  • Conduct detailed analyses of conversion funnels, customer behavior, monetization, and retention
  • Turn business goals into practical, data-driven tactics and campaigns
  • Respond to partner analysis needs while resolving ambiguity with pragmatic solutions
  • Present clear data narratives and insights to senior leaders and business partners

Cerințe

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, mathematics, physics, engineering, or another quantitative discipline
  • At least eight years of experience in data science or analytics
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence working directly with product and business leaders
  • Hands-on direct mail experience covering planning, forecasting, audience selection, execution, and monitoring
  • Strong SQL and Python or R programming skills, plus Tableau proficiency
  • Background in growth, lifecycle, or funnel optimization
  • Experience developing Airflow-based data pipelines, preferably with Snowflake
  • Proven ability to design experiments, test hypotheses, and apply statistical analysis
  • Comfort working effectively in ambiguous, rapidly changing product environments
  • Strong attention to detail in dynamic, cross-functional settings
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively while taking projects through completion
  • Strong business judgment, curiosity, communication, and presentation skills, including leadership presentations
  • Financial services experience and familiarity with banking products and marketing channels are strongly preferred
  • Experience working with consumer bureau data, including Experian and TU
  • Deep knowledge of credit card strategies tied to profitability and experience managing and executing prescreen campaigns
