Descriere

  • Lead fraud, investigation, regulatory enforcement, e-discovery, and forensic workstreams from planning through delivery.
  • Coordinate schedules and deliverables with guidance from Managers.
  • Gather facts and evidence, conduct interviews, and review financial transactions.
  • Analyze financial and electronic records, transaction data, and complex documents.
  • Use forensic accounting, data analytics, e-discovery methods, and digital tools to develop cases.
  • Review records, reports, communications, and documents to trace funds, identify patterns, and connect findings.
  • Assist with compliance risk assessments and reviews of regulatory requirements.
  • Develop investigative approaches for matters involving corporate governance, financial records, cybersecurity concerns, or suspected misconduct.
  • Investigate discrepancies and trace the movement of funds.
  • Prepare timelines, workpapers, reports, exhibits, and client-ready presentations.
  • Present findings to client stakeholders, counsel, and internal leaders.
  • Track scope, budget, progress, risks, deadlines, dependencies, and deliverable quality.
  • Coach Consultants and Interns, review their work, and support their development.
  • Work with internal and external counsel, forensic accountants, technology professionals, and other consultants.
  • Serve clients across a range of industries.

Cerințe

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Three to five years of relevant experience in forensic accounting, investigations, fraud review, regulatory matters, e-discovery, litigation support, compliance, or related professional services.
  • Experience owning substantial parts of investigative or forensic workstreams under engagement leadership oversight.
  • Experience planning and executing projects, tracking deliverables, and monitoring assigned budgets or workstream economics.
  • Experience applying data analytics, evidence-gathering methods, and digital tools to investigative casework.
  • Ability to review junior team members’ work and provide practical coaching.
  • Strong analytical skills to turn complex information into clear, well-supported findings.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presenting findings to clients or senior stakeholders.
  • Experience or understanding of fraud, investigations, regulatory enforcement, forensic accounting, e-discovery, litigation support, compliance risk assessments, and regulatory requirements.
  • Comfort working with financial records, electronic evidence, transaction data, and complex documents.
  • CPA, CFE, CFF, ACEDS, Relativity, or another relevant certification is preferred but not required.
  • Prior consulting, accounting, legal, regulatory, or professional services experience is preferred.
  • Successful background check.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid model, including in person at local Protiviti offices and client sites, and travel locally or out of state as required.
