Senior Design Team Lead – Ecommerce (Remote, Argentina)

Lead design operations for Hustler Marketing’s ecommerce clients across email, SMS, advertising, GIF, and video deliverables. Own quality standards, workload planning, designer development, and collaboration across teams.

Descriere

  • Lead the Design Team’s daily operations
  • Uphold strong design standards across client deliverables
  • Review email and SMS campaigns, advertising graphics, GIFs, short-form videos, and occasional landing pages
  • Identify design problems and provide clear, actionable guidance
  • Support Account Managers with campaign visual requirements and challenge incomplete briefs
  • Create designs directly when team capacity requires it
  • Keep client brands, niches, and visual systems consistent
  • Plan and rebalance the team’s weekly workload
  • Monitor workload allocation and confirm client design targets are achieved
  • Serve as the initial escalation point for design blockers
  • Facilitate team meetings and recurring one-to-one conversations
  • Gather and address team feedback, ideas, and concerns
  • Mentor designers and support new-hire onboarding
  • Build connections with other service teams through workshops, tutorials, and documentation
  • Lead training and capability-development sessions
  • Refine workflows, handoffs, and communication practices
  • Create and maintain team documentation
  • Follow Figma product updates and implement relevant improvements
  • Keep informed about design and email marketing developments
  • Share industry best practices with the Service Director and Design Team
  • Complete projects assigned by the Service Director
  • Report to the Service Director and work with Account Managers and other departments

Cerințe

  • At least five years of graphic design experience, including a minimum of three years focused on email marketing design
  • Advanced Figma expertise, including the creation and use of component libraries
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite or Affinity
  • Experience creating advertising graphics, animated GIFs, and short video edits
  • A portfolio demonstrating effective, on-brand work across different clients, stores, and niches
  • Background leading, mentoring, or coordinating designers
  • Ability to assess design work and provide precise, actionable written feedback
  • Ability to allocate and reorganize a team’s weekly workload, including at short notice
  • Basic knowledge of web design and landing pages is advantageous
  • Experience with Klaviyo or a similar email marketing platform is advantageous
  • Comfort using Slack, Asana, Hubstaff, Google Workspace, and Figma
  • Fluent written and spoken English
  • Previous remote-work experience, preferably with teams distributed across time zones
  • Availability and responsiveness Monday through Friday from 3 to 6 PM Barcelona time
  • Capacity to work consistently for 30 to 35 hours per week, or 140 hours per month
  • Reliable internet access, a laptop or PC, and the ability to participate in video calls
