Descriere

  • Lead engineering teams responsible for rider and driver apps, backend platforms, and operations tools.
  • Guide the organization’s transition to AI-native ways of working.
  • Build resilient, highly available, self-healing services for mission-critical workloads at scale.
  • Test and establish failover and disaster recovery for critical workflows.
  • Coordinate engineering, SRE, and Operations through incidents from start to finish.
  • Conduct thorough root-cause analyses and put preventive measures in place.
  • Expand the engineering organization through hiring, career growth, and skills development.
  • Build a culture of ownership and align teams around clear goals and metrics.
  • Work with Product to shape features and define focused scope.
  • Deliver scalable, well-architected solutions and reusable platforms.
  • Maintain predictable delivery, get off-track projects moving, and make releases safe.
  • Review architecture and designs for scalability, security, and cost before CTO review.
  • Set technical direction across engineering squads.
  • Define delivery and reliability metrics, find bottlenecks, and improve engineering speed and stability.
  • Apply AI to improve developer experience and reduce friction and toil in building, reviewing, shipping, and operating systems.
  • Deliver measurable improvements in speed, quality, and system health.

Cerințe

  • Bring at least 12 years of software engineering experience.
  • Have at least 3 years leading engineering organizations across multiple teams.
  • Have owned OKRs, performance management, hiring, and delivery turnarounds.
  • Have led engineering for a mature consumer product with a large user base.
  • Show a track record in incident response and reliability improvements for high-traffic, real-time systems.
  • Apply SRE practices, including SLOs, error budgets, blameless postmortems, and automation that reduces toil.
  • Understand secure coding, mobile app security, and data privacy.
  • Balance cloud and engineering costs in technical decisions.
  • Bring deep, hands-on knowledge of databases, Kubernetes, Google Cloud Platform, Redis, and Kafka.
  • Maintain hands-on technical experience.
  • Have used AI and led its adoption across an organization with measurable results.
  • Explain complex systems clearly and communicate technical vision and architecture to engineers, peers, and executives.
  • Align stakeholders around clear technical trade-offs.
  • Have experience with Go, Flutter, React, Kafka, Redis, Postgres, Kubernetes, and Google Cloud Platform.
