Descriere

  • Support project accounting operations for PMA Consultants’ consulting business.
  • Coordinate with project managers, finance leaders, and operations teams.
  • Manage project billing throughout the lifecycle in NetSuite ERP.
  • Tailor invoices to meet individual client requirements.
  • Maintain project files, including contracts, purchase orders, task orders, insurance certificates, and sub-consultant agreements.
  • Set up projects and tasks in NetSuite to meet contract billing terms.
  • Review account balances and flag overdue debts or discrepancies.
  • Work with project managers and clients to resolve payment concerns.
  • Prepare timesheet data for invoicing.
  • Compile sub-consultant invoices, travel costs, and general expenses for client billing.
  • Track project spending against approved budgets.
  • Notify project managers as projects near their budget limits.
  • Manage client billing and collections correspondence, including reconciling data.
  • Contribute to internal projects that support other departments.

Cerințe

  • A bachelor’s or associate degree in business, accounting, or a related field is preferred; alternatively, at least 10 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • At least five years of project accounting experience in a similar role, including billing and general accounting duties.
  • Experience with NetSuite and its billing module.
  • Experience with relevant software such as Oracle, SAP, or Deltek Vision.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Strong math skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws, ethics, and confidentiality practices.
  • Strong communication and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to prioritize work by urgency.
  • Dependable handling of accounts and documents.
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.
  • Ability to work for extended periods at a computer.
  • Problem-solving ability and strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret text on screen or in print.
