Customer Account Manager – Sam’s Club (Remote)

Lead Sam’s Club account growth for Dreyer’s Grand Ice Cream through sales planning, promotions, forecasting, and profitability management. Build retailer relationships and coordinate cross-functional execution across consumer packaged goods operations.

Descriere

  • Develop and execute business plans through selling and negotiation
  • Use business intelligence to build data-driven sales presentations for Sam’s Club
  • Coordinate internal and external teams that support the customer account
  • Partner with the retailer to plan and deliver promotional programs
  • Prepare data-backed new-item presentations to protect and expand shelf presence
  • Build and update category-level sales forecasts
  • Negotiate the customer’s monthly promotional activity
  • Interpret customer agreements and operate within established compliance requirements
  • Manage trade investment to improve profitability while strengthening the customer relationship
  • Work with external vendors to align promotional initiatives
  • Evaluate promotion performance using IRI and other analytical reports
  • Track competitors to protect exclusivity and limit category poaching
  • Keep reporting, promotional calendars, and volume forecasts current
  • Deliver DGIC business priorities
  • Coordinate with customer-facing supply chain, finance, category sales development, and other functional partners
  • Visit stores and relevant locations to assess products and report on the retail experience
  • Develop customer relationships and carry out the annual account plan
  • Expand distribution for new and de-listed or build items while activating category and shopper-marketing strategies
  • Identify misalignment between customer plans and feedback, then recommend corrective actions
  • Deliver customer targets and KPIs covering category growth, sales, service, and product availability

  • Build productive relationships with customers and internal partners
  • Negotiate effectively to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes
  • Follow through reliably on assigned commitments
  • Communicate clearly in spoken, written, and interpersonal settings
  • Work toward performance objectives with limited supervision
  • Apply forecasting expertise and research data through internal systems such as IRI, PowerBI, Numerator, Circana, Run Report, and Trade Rate Report
  • Five or more years in Club or Retail CPG sales is preferred
  • Experience in the Ice Cream category is preferred
  • A college or undergraduate degree is preferred
