Apraksts

  • Lead development of a NiDAR simulator in Unreal Engine 5.x, using its 3D rendering and physics capabilities.
  • Build realistic, geo-referenced environments and physics-driven drones, vehicles, and vessels.
  • Implement simulated effectors, including cannons, missile launchers, and lasers.
  • Model electro-optical and thermal camera sensors with pan, tilt, and zoom.
  • Stream video from Unreal Engine cameras to the C2 platform.
  • Integrate the simulator with company software in coordination with the backend team.
  • Maintain current Unreal Engine releases and prepare for the transition to UE6.
  • Provide technical support and mentorship.
  • Meet delivery timelines, develop accurate estimates, and assess risks.
  • Work with real-world equipment, including radar, sonar, thermal imaging, drones, and software-defined radios.

Prasības

  • Bring at least five years of professional software programming experience.
  • Have recent, hands-on professional experience with Unreal Engine 5 releases, starting with UE 5.8.
  • Write strong C++ for Unreal Engine.
  • Use Blueprints fluently.
  • Understand real-time physics with Chaos and vehicle or flight dynamics.
  • Work with rendering and cameras, including materials, post-processing, Scene Capture, and render targets.
  • Capture and stream rendered video from Unreal Engine using tools such as Pixel Streaming, GStreamer, or RTSP.
  • Profile software and optimize performance.
  • Use Git for version control.
  • Work comfortably on Windows and Linux; macOS experience is preferred.
  • Keep up with Unreal Engine development, including the UE6 roadmap, Verse, and Scene Graph.
  • Hold a bachelor's-level qualification in a science or engineering discipline, preferred by the employer.
  • Work effectively in mission-critical environments with strict timelines and limited connectivity.
