Senior 3D Generalist Artist, AAA Games (Remote, Philippines)

Create realistic hard-surface, environment, prop, and organic assets for AAA games. Optimize models, topology, UVs, and textures for real-time rendering.

Apraksts

  • Create detailed 3D assets—including hard-surface models, environments, props, and organic elements—with Maya, ZBrush, Substance Painter, and Substance Designer.
  • Optimize assets for real-time rendering while preserving visual quality and realism.
  • Build clean topology, UV layouts, and texture maps that meet project and industry standards.
  • Work with concept artists and leads to align assets with artistic direction and gameplay needs.
  • Contribute across art areas as needed, adapting to different asset creation tasks.
  • Follow project guidelines and keep leads and project managers informed of progress.
  • Join team meetings, reviews, and critiques to improve workflows and support collaboration.
  • Apply feedback and revise work to meet quality expectations.
  • Research industry developments, tools, and techniques to improve workflows and asset quality.
  • Complete other assigned duties with care and a commitment to quality.

Prasības

  • Bring 3–5 years of AAA game development experience, including generalist work across hard-surface and other asset types.
  • Have a background in art, design, or a related discipline.
  • Know realistic, high-fidelity hard-surface modeling, including high-to-low poly workflows, baking, and texturing.
  • Use Maya, ZBrush, and Substance Painter or Designer proficiently, or have experience with comparable tools.
  • Apply art fundamentals such as shape language, material definition, and lighting accurately.
  • Use creativity, resourcefulness, and problem-solving to address complex modeling challenges.
  • Communicate and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Take direction, use feedback constructively, and deliver work efficiently to deadlines.
  • Experience with several asset types—hard-surface, props, environments, and organic assets—is a plus.
  • Have contributed to at least one released AAA title.
