Operations Support Coordinator, Telecom Construction

Apraksts

  • Keep OSP project records, unit assignments, and closeout details accurate and complete.
  • Assign OFS units from approved construction records, redlines, bore logs, EOS, and verified field quantities.
  • Debrief OFS assignments and reconcile them with completed construction quantities.
  • Compare OFS, bore logs, redlines, EOS, and supporting records; flag significant discrepancies.
  • Check subcontractor bore logs for completeness, readability, project details, footage, and consistency.
  • Make minor corrections to bore logs and project records when the available information supports them.
  • Organize closeout records in SharePoint according to established folder and naming standards.
  • Check COP supporting documents before closeout packages proceed.
  • Reconcile unit counts, footage, subcontractor records, and other closeout details.
  • Locate missing records and coordinate with Operations, Construction, Design, or COP teams to obtain them.
  • Keep project trackers and systems current with statuses, open items, and completed actions.
  • Help prepare and finalize COP handoff packages.
  • Address backlog and aging projects in line with established priorities.
  • Raise unresolved issues so projects continue moving forward.
  • Contribute to COP backlog reduction and work-in-progress conversion to invoicing.
  • Check customer and internal systems for accurate project and production records.
  • Work with OPEs and other stakeholders to document the tasks and milestones needed to finish and close projects.
  • Check billing and production records for accuracy and completeness.
  • Translate field production records into documented completed quantities for revenue processing.
  • Flag issues that may delay closeout, billing, or project completion.

Prasības

  • Experience supporting telecom or outside plant (OSP) construction operations.
  • Working knowledge of OSP construction unit codes, directional boring records, redlines or as-builts, and project closeout requirements.
  • Ability to interpret maps, drawings, diagrams, construction documents, and field records.
  • Careful attention to detail and skill comparing and reconciling information from multiple sources.
  • Strong organization and ability to manage many projects and documents independently.
  • Ability to spot and correct minor administrative discrepancies while recognizing when an issue needs escalation.
  • Ability to work effectively with departments, subcontractors, field crews, and managers.
  • Strong verbal, written, telephone, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Experience with OFS, SharePoint, Smartsheet, SiteTracker, Fulcrum, or similar project and construction management systems is highly beneficial.
