Accounts Payable Specialist – Brooklyn Hybrid

Provide temporary accounts payable support for EpicWorks’ financial operations serving movement organizations. Handle invoices, reconciliations, expense reports, vendors, and AP systems during a period of transition.

Apraksts

  • Review and secure approvals for accounts payable invoices across projects nationwide.
  • Code invoices for payment with the relevant general ledger, department, campaign, region, and funding details.
  • Enter and upload accounts payable items in FundEZ.
  • Reconcile accounts payable transactions across platforms in FundEZ.
  • Review and process expense reports in Certify and Ramp.
  • Help reconcile monthly accounts payable entries with the General Ledger.
  • Review Ramp credit card charges and notify relevant people about missing approvals or receipts.
  • Keep the Finance Department’s digital accounts payable records and vendor and contractor files organized.
  • Help collect W-9 forms and administer debit card disbursements across all companies.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to questions from vendors and EpicWorks staff.
  • Optionally help prepare monthly budget-to-actual reports and take on other Finance and Compliance tasks.
  • Support EpicWorks’ financial operations as it transitions to Ramp and NetSuite and activity increases during the electoral period.

Prasības

  • At least 3 years of accounts payable experience.
  • Strong observation skills and attention to detail for accurate account reconciliation.
  • Ability to identify and resolve problems efficiently and accurately.
  • Experience with accounts payable platforms and accounting software preferred.
  • Experience with Ramp and NetSuite highly preferred.
  • Comfort using Excel, Microsoft tools, Google spreadsheets and documents, and standard email.
  • Clear, effective communication with team members, colleagues, independent contractors, and vendors.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field preferred.
  • Political, campaign, or nonprofit experience is a plus.
  • Must already be authorized to work for any employer in the United States; employment visa sponsorship is not available.

Priekšrocības

  • Hybrid arrangement with approximately 1–2 days per week in person.
  • Occasional travel for major events and all-staff meetings.
  • Unionized workplace.
  • Temporary full-time role through April 30, 2027.
