  • Identify priority markets and prospective customers across the assigned West Michigan territory
  • Create sales strategies and cultivate key customer relationships through solution-based selling
  • Strengthen customer contacts by identifying design opportunities and resolving business challenges
  • Support customer satisfaction across supply-chain management and value-added services
  • Build account strategies and sell Arrow’s complete portfolio of offerings
  • Develop and present internal quarterly business reviews (iQBRs), including strategic plans and execution steps
  • Conduct recurring quarterly business reviews with major customers to uncover further sales opportunities
  • Sell Arrow’s value-added, supply-chain, and full life-cycle programs
  • Work with sales tracking tools, Salesforce.com, and Oracle
  • Develop strong partnerships with key suppliers
  • Participate in a variable sales compensation plan tied to sales performance goals

  • Deep knowledge of the electronic components industry
  • Familiarity with the assigned market and territory, including customers and competitors
  • Recent experience in IP&E, interconnect, passive, or electromechanical components
  • Capability to promote and sell Arrow’s value-added, supply-chain, and full life-cycle programs
  • Ability to create strategic plans for assigned accounts and position Arrow’s full portfolio of offerings
  • Experience working with contract manufacturers
  • Demonstrated ability to explain complex strategies clearly and carry them through to execution
  • Extensive knowledge of electronics-industry pricing programs and models
  • Experience working with vendors and customers in technical and engineering settings
  • Ability to prepare detailed internal quarterly business reviews (iQBRs) and lead recurring QBRs with major customers
  • Proficiency with sales tracking systems, Salesforce.com, and Oracle
  • Typically requires a four-year degree and at least five years of related experience, an advanced degree without experience, or equivalent professional experience
  • Willingness to travel to an Arrow office when requested by leadership
  • Availability for local travel across West Michigan three to four days per week
