Collections Specialist, Accounts Receivable – Berlin Hybrid
Manage overdue customer accounts for Lightspeed Commerce while supporting collections, reconciliations, reporting, and payment issue resolution within the Berlin-based Finance team.

- Manage a portfolio of overdue customer accounts through consistent follow-up by phone, email, and other customer contact channels.
- Collaborate with customers to settle outstanding balances and keep account records accurate and current.
- Assess which accounts require external collection support, then compile and submit the required documentation.
- Coordinate with collection agencies and assist with resolving outstanding customer balances.
- Build and review Excel and Google Sheets reports to identify overdue accounts and determine collection priorities.
- Assist with month-end accounts receivable close activities, including the investigation of payment discrepancies.
- Track missed payments, late payments, and other account irregularities, addressing emerging issues proactively.
- Deliver responsive customer support and resolve account concerns with a practical, solution-focused approach.
- Contribute to the Lightspeed Finance team supporting a cloud-based commerce platform for merchants.

- Professional background in collections, accounts receivable, credit control, or a closely related role.
- Native-level fluency in German.
- Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
- French proficiency is an appreciated additional qualification.
- Working knowledge of Excel and Google Sheets, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.
- Familiarity with Salesforce or a similar CRM platform is advantageous.
