Senior Machine Learning Engineer – Egypt (Remote)
Lead production machine learning for customer scoring, including churn, propensity, lifetime value, spend intent, and response models. Own MLOps, deployment, retraining, monitoring, evaluation, and calibration in a self-managed data platform.
Description
- Own the product’s predictive customer scores across churn, propensity, lifetime value, spend intent, and response use cases.
- Apply machine learning and tabular predictive modelling to customer data.
- Develop and maintain production models for customer prediction and scoring.
- Manage the complete model lifecycle from training and deployment through retraining, monitoring, evaluation, and calibration.
- Run models within a self-managed data platform environment.
- Support production-focused predictive modelling initiatives.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience applying machine learning models in production rather than solely in research or proof-of-concept settings.
- Strong hands-on experience with tabular predictive modelling using customer data.
- Experience developing churn or propensity models in telecommunications, banking, or retail.
- Ability to build training, deployment, and retraining pipelines in a self-managed environment.
- Practical MLOps experience with model registries, versioning, retraining, monitoring, and drift detection.
- Comfort working within a data platform instead of relying solely on notebooks.
- Experience with uplift or causal modelling for incremental targeting.
- Knowledge of feature store design.
- Ability to collaborate with commercial stakeholders to define how predictions will be used.
