Description

Balance financial objectives with claimant experience and reputational considerations
Work with third-party administrators to support timely, consistent, and effective claim handling
Evaluate liability, financial exposure, litigation risk, and potential business impact
Create resolution strategies that reflect company goals and values
Advise relevant departments on claims matters
Monitor emerging loss trends and encourage consistent claims practices
Assess potential subrogation opportunities
Maintain complete written and electronic claim files in accordance with claim-handling protocols
Represent the risk management claims function on cross-departmental working groups

Requirements

At least four years of general liability claims adjusting experience with a third-party administrator, insurer, or self-insured organization
At least two years of general knowledge of insurance and legal principles
At least two years of customer service experience
At least two years of general office experience in a fast-paced setting
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Strong negotiation and relationship management capabilities
Effective time management and prioritization skills
Demonstrated compassion, empathy, and professionalism
