Project Executive – Renewable EPC (Onsite)

Rosendin seeks a Project Executive to lead large-scale renewable EPC programs onsite. The role oversees budgets, design, construction, teams, clients, and project profitability.

Description

  • Lead and oversee large-scale engineering, procurement, and construction projects.
  • Manage assigned project budgets, schedules, and profitability.
  • Direct all scopes for large BESS, substation, wind, distributed generation, and utility-scale solar projects.
  • Pursue new business and strengthen customer relationships alongside Business Development and the Division Manager.
  • Manage renewable EPC scopes spanning civil, environmental, mechanical, structural, substation, medium- and DC-voltage collection, BESS, and SCADA work.
  • Set strategic direction for planning, execution, and delivery across multiple EPC projects.
  • Act as the main liaison between the company, clients, stakeholders, and project teams.
  • Cultivate effective relationships with clients, partners, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Collaborate with Business Development leaders on preconstruction deliverables.
  • Lead project management teams from APM through Senior PM with guidance, mentoring, and coaching.
  • Create and improve project management processes, systems, and tools.
  • Track project results, financial measures, KPIs, forecasts, and profitability.
  • Verify compliance with specifications, contracts, regulations, safety standards, and quality expectations.
  • Coordinate with divisional leadership and operations, finance, engineering, environmental, safety, HR, and other functions.
  • Evaluate project constraints, predesign reports, studies, design workflows, substation design, procurement and construction, utility locations, crossing agreements, civil and structural design, electrical design, SCADA, metering, NERC/FERC requirements, security fencing, and O&M buildings.
  • Coordinate resource assignments and pipeline planning with Area and Site Superintendents.
  • Review initial budgets, buyouts, cost-to-complete projections, and other financial matters, then provide recurring progress reports and documentation to senior leaders and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, business administration, or a related discipline.
  • At least 10 years of project management or related experience, preferably in the EPC industry.
  • Strong organization, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Experience with construction management software and tools such as Primavera P6, MS Project, and Microsoft Office.
  • Business development experience and substantial client interaction are advantageous.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor and manage team members.
  • Careful and detail-focused, with a commitment to quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
  • Able to collaborate effectively and adjust to changing project needs.
  • Able to communicate professionally with employees at every level, vendors, clients, and other stakeholders.
  • Motivated to learn and develop in a demanding, changing work environment.
  • Available for travel of up to 100%.
  • Able to occasionally lift up to 30 pounds.
