Part-Time Accounts Payable Specialist - Remote

ABC Legal Services is seeking a part-time Accounts Payable Specialist for remote work in the United States. The role covers vendor records, payments, journal entries, and general-ledger reconciliations.

Description

  • Support the accounts payable workflow using NetSuite and related software
  • Maintain independent-contractor vendor records, including W-9 forms
  • Work with the vendor support team to manage relationships with new and existing vendors
  • Process bills accurately and on time in accordance with departmental procedures
  • Trace and verify bank transactions
  • Prepare and record journal entries
  • Reconcile general-ledger accounts
  • Answer payment questions from contractors and internal departments
  • Help the accounting team manage company expenses

  • Three to six months of accounts payable experience preferred
  • Experience using QuickBooks
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications and PDF editors is a plus
  • Residence in Florida, Indiana, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, South Carolina, or Virginia
  • Availability to work Eastern Time hours
