Mid-Level Product Manager, Conversion Optimization — U.S. Hybrid

Lead conversion optimization for a cruise-booking funnel serving a travel client. Design and evaluate A/B tests, analyze performance, and scale checkout improvements that work.

Description

  • Own conversion performance for the cruise-booking funnel by tracking each step and conversion rate through dashboards and targeted analysis
  • Use quantitative and qualitative insights to size optimization opportunities and develop testable hypotheses tied to product goals
  • Manage A/B tests from planning through monitoring, covering hypotheses, primary metrics, guardrails, sample size, duration, implementation, and QA
  • Evaluate experiment outcomes rigorously and advise whether to launch, refine, or discontinue each change
  • Communicate findings to stakeholders while maintaining the experimentation roadmap and results record
  • Assess the impact of released features and updates through pre- and post-launch analysis, identifying funnel or tracking regressions
  • Triage feature requests, defects, and stakeholder or QA concerns, and prioritize the backlog against business needs
  • Work with engineering to investigate root causes, including analytics-tagging gaps, and follow corrective actions through completion
  • Support user acceptance testing and release readiness by defining acceptance criteria, coordinating test activities, and managing go/no-go checklists
  • Keep requirements, test plans, decisions, and processes documented in Confluence and Jira
  • Work cross-functionally with the product lead, UX designer, business analyst, data analysts, engineers, partner teams, and other stakeholders

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of product management experience in a consumer-facing role at a large enterprise
  • Hands-on experience owning conversion-rate optimization for an e-commerce or checkout funnel
  • Product management experience in the cruise industry is strongly preferred
  • Experience in travel, hospitality, or e-commerce is preferred
  • Demonstrated success designing, running, and analyzing A/B tests that produced measurable conversion gains
  • Strong understanding of experimentation statistics, including significance, power, sample sizing, confidence intervals, peeking, novelty effects, and sample-ratio mismatch
  • Practical experience with web analytics and experimentation platforms such as Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Optimizely, Adobe Target, or comparable tools
  • Experience using digital-experience analytics tools such as Quantum Metric
  • Ability to use data analytics to identify and prioritize problems
  • SQL experience or the ability to retrieve your own data is a plus
  • Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum methods and tools including Jira and Confluence
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to coordinate technical and multidisciplinary teams and explain results to nontechnical stakeholders
  • Comfort working with advanced AI tools and interest in emerging technologies
  • Ability to pass a background check; work remotely from within the United States with sufficient overlap with Pacific Time
  • Ability to work remotely from within the United States with good overlap with the Pacific Time zone
