Senior Solution Delivery Engineer – Biometric Solutions, Morocco Hybrid
Lead the design, migration and delivery of Innovatrics biometric solutions for identity, border, justice and enterprise customers. This hybrid Morocco role combines engineering, customer training and technical implementation.
Description
- Own the technical delivery of biometric customer solutions
- Design solutions for identity documents, passports, elections, criminal investigations, border crossings, e-gates and identity verification
- Develop migration code and tooling to transfer real customer data into production solutions
- Validate solution performance and communicate results to customer stakeholders
- Work with solution teams, R&D, product, support and pre-sales
- Build broad knowledge across solution clusters before specializing in one
- Explain biometric concepts such as enrolment, verification, identification, templates, matching, accuracy and thresholds
- Follow biometric-data handling requirements before accessing customer datasets
- Support and independently deliver customer training
- Create and improve technical documentation
- Learn and integrate solution APIs
- Compare environments and evaluate differences and their effects
- Act as the primary engineer and technical counterpart for customers
- Execute live data migrations and produce quality and deduplication analyses
- Perform gap assessments and sizing while supporting proofs of concept
- Deliver customer training independently
- Prepare and explain Factory Acceptance Tests, quality analyses and deduplication reports
- Plan, execute and report on migrations independently
- Measure accuracy against independent benchmarks
- Use Solution Management tools in delivery work
- Act as the technical reference for a solution cluster
- Manage multiple technical implementations from initial design through deployment
- Advise customers and internal colleagues
- Lead complex biometric migrations and third-party integrations
- Translate project lessons into product roadmap input
Requirements
- Recent hands-on experience with at least one mainstream programming language, such as Java, C#, Python or Go
- Practical SQL skills and the ability to understand unfamiliar schemas
- Experience analyzing real-world datasets
- Ability to convert customer needs into defined scope, assumptions and risks
- Ability to design end-to-end solutions covering data models, use cases, roles and permissions
- Ability to record and communicate technical decisions
- Ability to manage scope, changes and expectations, including proposing alternatives when declining requests
- Strong spoken and written English for analyses, diagrams and presentations
- University degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or a related technical field; business or economics graduates need hands-on engineering experience
- Willingness and flexibility to travel for short business trips
- Fluency in English and French
- Resume or CV submitted in English
- Ability to provide a technical writing sample during interviews
- Willingness to complete recruiter screening, a take-home assignment, team interviews, practical technical tasks, a CARES interview, reference checks and background verification
