Regional Analyst – Federal Grants

Regional Analyst supporting federal grantee program reviews, financial analysis, monitoring visits, technical assistance, compliance reporting, and government decision-making for GDIT.

Description

  • Evaluate grantee programs and financial management data against program goals and federal requirements
  • Support the Regional Representative with consultation and community engagement across the assigned region
  • Assist with site visits involving states, NGOs, mutual assistance associations, and other organizations
  • Secure Regional Representative approval of site reports before publication
  • Examine state plans, grantee results, financial reports, and related data, then summarize findings
  • Deliver technical assistance to grantees after monitoring reports are issued
  • Evaluate independent auditor reports and propose follow-up reviews when needed
  • Create monitoring work plans and support grants management and state program review teams
  • Plan and carry out designated on-site monitoring visits
  • Recognize program gaps, effective models, and initiatives requiring corrective action
  • Write reports detailing strengths, best practices, weaknesses, and recommended actions
  • Contribute to regional initiatives addressing cross-cutting issues and collaborative efforts
  • Coordinate with regional government offices and federal agency branches to improve services
  • Perform analytical work that supports federal program decisions
  • Assess user needs and conduct project research and functional analysis
  • Help update and refine monitoring protocols

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • Five to eight years of relevant experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities
  • Working proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Federal grants experience is preferred
  • Experience supporting immigrant or refugee communities is preferred
  • Current Public Trust clearance or the ability to obtain one
  • No existing security clearance is required
  • MBI (T2) public trust or other applicable requirement
  • Ability to travel domestically to grantee sites approximately 10% of the time
  • Ability to work in a hybrid arrangement and regularly report to a government office when required
