Junior Operations Analyst – Insurance Benefits (Hybrid, São Paulo)
Junior Operations Analyst supporting insurance and employee benefits administration. The role covers benefit changes, billing activities, and operational customer service.
Description
- Handle routine operational activities for insured and non-insured benefit programs
- Process enrollments, cancellations, amendments, upgrades, and plan extensions through insurer and provider portals and systems
- Download billing files and deliver them to clients securely and in an organized format
- Check invoices and the information included in billing files for accuracy
- Examine submitted documents for missing information, inconsistencies, errors, or outdated details
- Keep accurate records of all processed benefit changes
- Support customers with billing and cost-allocation questions through professional, empathetic service
- Review dependents who reach the age of majority and process cancellations required by age-based eligibility rules
- Spot opportunities to improve operational processes and workflows
- Complete other department-related tasks as assigned under the immediate supervisor’s direction
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management, or a related discipline
- Foundational proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Insurance-industry experience involving operational processes for health, dental, and life insurance products
- Customer-focused and professional approach, with strong collaboration, organization, analytical thinking, innovation, and resilience
