Implementation Analyst, TELUS — Halifax Onsite

Support TELUS Health retirement consulting clients with pension system configuration, testing, and troubleshooting. Work with clients and cross-functional teams to improve defined-benefit plan administration.

Description

  • Deliver analytical and technical support to clients, plan members, and the Administration team
  • Support the implementation and ongoing maintenance of pension administration systems and processes
  • Interpret pension-plan requirements and align system configurations with regulatory guidelines and client needs
  • Work with clients to clarify business requirements and objectives
  • Configure ARIEL® basic plan parameters and test calculation results when required
  • Implement and configure software solutions based on client requirements
  • Perform system testing and investigate and resolve issues
  • Train and support end users on new systems and functionality
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to achieve project timelines and deliverables
  • Maintain documentation for processes, configurations, and system changes
  • Identify and implement improvements to implementation processes and procedures

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting
  • Additional coursework in pension administration or mathematics is an asset
  • More than one year of experience in software implementation, configuration, testing, and support
  • Experience with Excel and the Microsoft Office suite
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Familiarity with ARIEL® or other business software systems is an asset
  • Experience with Excel and Access VBA is an asset
  • Bilingualism is an asset
  • Roles requiring work at a data center or access to detailed client-service technology knowledge are subject to Personnel Security Screening conducted through the Government of Canada
  • Where English is required, the role involves regular interaction in English with internal or external parties or use of English applications or software
