HR Specialist – Zurich (Hybrid)

Description

  • Own HR administration throughout the employee lifecycle, covering employee records, sickness and accident notifications, onboarding and offboarding support, HR inquiries, reference letters, and monthly reporting.
  • Coordinate the full recruitment process, from job postings and hiring-manager alignment through interviews, candidate communications, feedback records, reference checks, background-screening support, and complete candidate and new-joiner files.
  • Conduct four-eye payroll checks, handle payroll questions, and coordinate with external payroll providers.
  • Maintain HR platforms including Personio and Workable, uphold data accuracy, and deliver system updates and process improvements.
  • Assist with HR budget administration by processing invoices, tracking costs, and coordinating with Finance and external partners.
  • Provide organizational and administrative support across HR activities and projects while owning assigned initiatives.
  • Prepare HR reports, respond to stakeholder requests, complete follow-ups on time, and maintain audit-ready documentation and compliance with internal controls.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in HR services, HR administration, or a comparable operational HR position.
  • Demonstrated recruitment experience, especially hiring technology professionals and technical specialists.
  • Completed HR education or training, or equivalent practical experience in human resources.
  • Excellent German and English communication skills, including business-level English.
  • A proactive, solution-focused approach with the independence to manage responsibilities in a broad HR role.
  • Strong interpersonal abilities and confidence engaging with and supporting stakeholders throughout the organization.
  • Discreet, dependable, and professional, with a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Advanced IT skills, ideally including practical experience with HR platforms such as Personio or Workable and Microsoft Office.
  • Organized, hands-on approach with close attention to detail and a strong commitment to service.
  • Eligibility to work in Switzerland through a Swiss work permit or EU/EFTA citizenship.
