Director, Corporate Accounts — Apotex — North York

Lead sales strategy, negotiations, and account growth for Apotex’s largest corporate customers. Drive profitable pharmaceutical partnerships and performance from the North York office.

Description

  • Own sales performance for assigned corporate accounts and deliver annual targets.
  • Create and implement quarterly and annual account plans and go-to-market strategies.
  • Develop account relationships and present Apotex products and services.
  • Track sales results and customer satisfaction, addressing issues with corrective action.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements to increase sales value while meeting policy requirements.
  • Analyze market conditions to uncover industry opportunities and emerging trends.
  • Partner with Marketing, Commercial Operations, Finance, Business Development, and other teams to improve customer experiences.
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts and inventory targets across accounts, customers, and products.
  • Represent Apotex at trade shows, conferences, and customer events.
  • Provide sales management with actual results and performance forecasts.
  • Prepare and oversee OPEX budgets for the assigned territory.
  • Lead and contribute to strategic initiatives supporting internal growth.
  • Stay informed about pharmaceutical industry developments, challenges, and innovations.
  • Escalate suspected adverse drug reactions to Global Pharmacovigilance under corporate SOPs.
  • Comply with safety, regulatory, quality, environmental, HR, and business ethics policies.

Requirements

  • An undergraduate degree is required.
  • An MBA is preferred.
  • At least 5–8 years of relevant industry experience, including sales and management experience in retail, hospital, or comparable selling environments.
  • Clear, persuasive written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong planning, organizational, and coaching capabilities.
  • Flexibility, dependability, goal focus, and initiative.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, make decisions with incomplete information, and perform in a highly competitive market.
  • Demonstrated negotiation and consensus-building ability.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong financial judgment and the ability to evaluate complex deals.
  • French bilingualism is preferred.
