Dental Implant Territory Sales Representative

Grow Dentsply Sirona’s MIS dental implant business by developing new accounts and expanding sales across an assigned territory. The role focuses on prospecting dental practices, converting competitive accounts, and increasing revenue.

Description

  • Find, qualify, and win new customers across the assigned territory.
  • Expand sales with existing customers.
  • Build and manage a pipeline through cold outreach, office visits, referrals, study clubs, local events, and follow-up.
  • Present the Implants MIS product line to dental practices.
  • Develop conversion plans tailored to individual accounts.
  • Coordinate clinical education plans with the direct manager.
  • Deliver product presentations, business discussions, and in-office demonstrations.
  • Encourage product trials, adoption, and repeat use by agreeing on clear next steps and customer commitments.
  • Manage territory growth targets, including new accounts, customer expansion, pipeline progress, and revenue.
  • Assess territory data, account potential, competitors, and market trends.
  • Work with marketing, education, customer service, and sales leaders.
  • Keep CRM records and opportunity forecasts accurate.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in B2B, dental, medical device, or value-based sales.
  • Experience selling dental implants or into specialty dental practices preferred.
  • Ability to win new business through proactive prospecting, competitive conversions, and territory pipeline development.
  • A proactive sales approach, resilience, urgency, and ability to work independently.
  • Ability to sell value-based solutions and distinguish them from competitors’ offerings.
  • Professional communication with dentists, oral surgeons, periodontists, practice owners, and office leaders.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, objection-handling, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and sales tools.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively within the territory.
  • Eligibility to work in the United States.
