Supervise concurrent audit operations at Unimed Nacional, a national health plan operator. Lead teams, medical audits, DRG indicators, and people management.

Description

  • Oversee medical and nursing operations while ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable laws.
  • Lead the team toward results, productivity, and quality objectives.
  • Keep concurrent audit and medical billing activities on schedule.
  • Supervise the work and deliverables of outsourced service teams.
  • Track findings, conduct negotiations, and oversee resolution of adverse-event cases.
  • Assist with discharge planning and provide technical nursing support to the local audit team.
  • Help implement and maintain the DRG system while tracking performance indicators and targets.
  • Join audit, quality, and patient safety meetings with accredited hospitals to review cases.
  • Find negotiation opportunities and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Handle people-management activities, including attendance, vacation planning, training, and feedback, in partnership with HR.
  • Maintain compliance with internal policies, quality standards, ANS regulations, and occupational health and safety requirements.
  • Collaborate with other departments to improve operational efficiency and performance.
  • Track key metrics, including average hospital length of stay.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • Specialized training or an MBA is considered a plus.
  • Behavioral strengths include customer focus, communication and influence, people leadership, critical-issue resolution, accountable results orientation, teamwork, and systems thinking.
