- Record day-to-day business transactions independently and reliably
- Track deadlines and monitor incoming and outgoing payments
- Manage payment reminder and collections correspondence by email
- Maintain master data accurately and systematically
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities
- Develop toward preparing financial statements independently
- Help implement and refine financial processes
- Advance digitalization in financial accounting
Requirements
- Completed commercial or tax specialist training, or a degree focused on finance and accounting
- At least four years of relevant financial accounting experience
- Good working knowledge of German Commercial Code (HGB) accounting
- Good knowledge of a common ERP system, such as DATEV, SAP, or Navision, and of Excel
- Very good German skills (at least C1)
- Good English skills (at least B1)
- Strong analytical ability, initiative, and attention to detail
- A collaborative mindset and motivation to take initiative
