- Apply incoming cash to the correct policies
- Investigate unapplied cash and identify its cause
- Report open items and resolve them with onshore billing partners
- Process premium cash through wire and ACH lockboxes
- Meet year-end, month-end, and quarter-end deadlines
- Reconcile accounts and balance sheets daily and monthly, including related research and analysis
- Prepare or extract reports and investigate accounting issues
Requirements
- Accounting graduate with at least five years of finance and accounting experience in cash applications and month-end close
- Ability to read and interpret business documents
- Ability to analyze complex information, compare data from multiple sources, and identify cause-and-effect relationships
