Description

  • Administer, maintain, and continually improve the HaloITSM Configuration Management Database (CMDB)
  • Establish and maintain CMDB governance standards covering CI classification, naming, relationship models, lifecycle processes, and data quality controls
  • Create and manage configuration items, CI relationships, service dependencies, and service maps in HaloITSM
  • Lead Discovery and Service Mapping initiatives to increase visibility into infrastructure and service dependencies
  • Investigate, reconcile, and correct CMDB discrepancies, duplicate records, ownership gaps, and configuration drift
  • Conduct recurring audits, normalization work, and data quality assessments
  • Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytics covering asset relationships, service dependencies, lifecycle status, and operational health
  • Work with infrastructure, networking, security, application, endpoint, and service desk teams
  • Support Change Management by validating CI relationships, service impacts, and dependency mappings
  • Provide backup HaloITSM administration, including platform configuration, workflows, forms, automation, notifications, service catalogs, permissions, and operational continuity
  • Support HaloITSM integrations, platform upgrades, automation efforts, API data flows, testing, troubleshooting, and vendor coordination
  • Support asset lifecycle processes, inventory validation, reconciliation, and consistency between configuration and asset data across enterprise and endpoint management systems
  • Work with IS teams to strengthen data quality, automation, service management processes, and platform performance

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in Configuration Management, Asset Management, IT Service Management, Systems Administration, or a related IT field
  • Experience administering CMDB, asset management, or ITSM platforms; HaloITSM or a comparable enterprise solution is preferred
  • Solid knowledge of ITIL practices, including Configuration, Change, Asset, and Incident Management and Request Fulfillment
  • Experience managing configuration items, CI relationships, service dependencies, lifecycle processes, data reconciliation, and CMDB governance
  • Experience supporting ITSM workflows, platform administration, reporting, process improvement, and operational activities
  • Working knowledge of PowerShell, automation, scripting, APIs, or related technologies
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Windows, Active Directory, Entra ID, Intune, and SCCM
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration abilities
  • ITIL Foundation certification or equivalent is preferred
  • Experience establishing or advancing CMDB governance frameworks, data quality standards, service mapping, or dependency models
  • Experience supporting HaloITSM administration, integrations, automation, or platform configuration
  • Experience with Discovery and Service Mapping technologies
  • Knowledge of enterprise asset lifecycle management, endpoint management, compliance reporting, vulnerability management, and asset discovery
