Associate Field Service Technician - Philippines (Remote)
Support Diebold Nixdorf banking and retail technology in the field. Install, troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and explain deployed hardware and software to customers.
Description
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain product and component hardware and software, primarily at customer sites
- Complete scheduled inspections, cleaning, and related service activities
- Carry out minor product repairs within the assigned territory
- Verify product operation, resolve issues, or escalate them according to established procedures
- Schedule service visits and complete the required documentation
- Work with customers to support service satisfaction and understanding of product functionality
- Diagnose hardware and software failures with appropriate diagnostic tools
- Complete repairs at the component level
- Clean and adjust mechanical components
- Configure and install applicable software
- Conduct preventive-maintenance checks and replenish consumables
- Install, relocate, add, modify, and remove hardware and software products
- Train customers to use installed hardware and software
- Attend hardware and software training
- Contribute to initiatives supporting agreed key performance indicators
- Support special projects as assigned
Requirements
- Required education or equivalent professional experience
- At least 1–2 years of relevant field service experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A valid driver's license and driving record meeting Diebold Nixdorf fleet requirements
