Senior Project Controller – Naseej (Remote, Egypt)
Oversee budgets, revenue, invoicing, and profitability for Naseej’s IT and digital transformation projects. Support PMO governance and financial decision-making.
Description
- Track project budgets, costs, revenue, margins, and financial performance.
- Coordinate revenue recognition, invoicing, billing milestones, and forecasts with Finance and Project Managers.
- Compare actual costs and revenue with budgets and forecasts, identify variances, and coordinate corrective action.
- Keep project records and financial updates current, and complete invoicing and month-end and year-end closures on time.
- Assess project profitability, resource utilization, change requests, and their financial effects.
- Maintain accurate project financial records in ERP and project management systems.
- Produce financial reports, dashboards, and management insights for the PMO and senior management.
- Help Project Managers with financial planning, forecasting, cost optimization, and commercial decisions.
- Follow PMO governance, project control procedures, contract terms, and financial policies.
- Flag revenue leakage, billing delays, cost overruns, and other project financial risks, and coordinate responses.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
- At least five years of experience in project control, project finance, PMO, or project accounting; experience in IT, technology, software, digital transformation, or systems integration is preferred.
- Strong experience with project revenue, revenue recognition, invoicing, forecasting, budgeting, cost control, and profitability analysis.
- Experience using ERP and project finance systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365, SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms.
- Understanding of IT project delivery models, contracts, milestones, change requests, and project financial structures.
- Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical and reporting abilities.
- Power BI experience is preferred.
- Strong communication and coordination skills across Project Management, Finance, Sales, Delivery, and Commercial teams.
