Tavsif

  • Lead and support direct reports while maintaining consistently high service standards
  • Own company Health & Safety responsibilities and foster a culture of excellence
  • Represent BaxterStorey across South Wales and identify opportunities for business growth
  • Partner with sales teams on leads, tenders, presentations and site tours
  • Research the market to uncover business development opportunities and emerging sectors
  • Develop prospective-client relationships and support the launch of new contracts
  • Progress leads and arrange client appointments
  • Monitor client Service Level Agreements and identify performance trends for reporting
  • Strengthen client relationships while keeping onsite managers as the main points of contact
  • Ensure direct reports satisfy client requirements, contractual commitments and company values
  • Control contract finances within budget and provide updates to the Operations Director
  • Maintain adherence to company policies and operating procedures
  • Complete quarterly Health & Safety audits across sites and communicate policy updates
  • Collaborate with clients, suppliers and teams to improve services and share feedback
  • Recruit, onboard, assess, coach, mentor and develop direct reports
  • Prepare job descriptions and person specifications
  • Assist with grievance and disciplinary processes
  • Establish development, performance improvement and succession plans
  • Recognise and reward outstanding performance

Talablar

  • Demonstrated success managing multi-site operations and several client accounts
  • Demonstrated success leading and managing managers
  • Experience overseeing Service Level Agreements and key performance indicators
  • Experience heading a department or business function
  • Experience analysing, interpreting and presenting business data, including proposals
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare management information and compile performance statistics
  • Catering-sector experience is desirable
  • Current knowledge of foodservice developments and industry trends
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong practical knowledge of employment law covering grievances, discipline, attendance management and recruitment
  • Strong understanding of Health & Safety processes and their implementation
  • Charismatic leadership style with the ability to build trust and engage people at every level
  • Strong influencing and motivational abilities
  • Strategic perspective and commercial acumen
  • Sound decision-making skills, with the ability to respond quickly while remaining considered and objective
  • Ability to establish compelling visions and set ambitious objectives
  • Willingness to travel throughout South Wales and across the UK for business events and meetings
  • Ability to spend at least 60% of working time at client sites
  • Flexible and open-minded approach in a changing business environment
