Claims Consultant, Liability and Property — Sydney (Hybrid)
Manage public liability, professional indemnity and property claims for Marsh Australia’s local government clients. This hybrid Sydney role covers investigations, reserving, costs and negotiations.
Tavsif
- Oversee a mixed portfolio of public liability, professional indemnity and property claims from start to finish.
- Investigate claims and set accurate reserves.
- Monitor and manage claim costs.
- Negotiate with third parties.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Develop relationships with brokers, underwriters, reinsurers and other internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide claims management services to local government clients, with an emphasis on liability claims.
Talablar
- At least three years of claims experience.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- A strong customer service orientation.
- Able to stay calm under pressure and adapt working arrangements when needed.
- Able to work in Australia.
- Have appropriate approval to work in Australia.
- Successful candidates must pass criminal and bankruptcy checks before starting.
- Relevant tertiary study in law, business or commerce, loss adjusting, or ANZIIF is valued but not essential.
- Experience handling public liability or casualty claims is valued but not essential.
- Previous client-facing experience is valued but not essential.
