Casualty Claims Representative
Investigate, evaluate, and negotiate casualty claims for Auto-Owners Insurance. Hybrid work is available after in-person training, subject to approved work-location requirements.
Descriere
- Investigate assigned casualty claims by gathering statements, physical evidence, and legal records.
- Review policy coverage and assess liability and damages.
- Negotiate settlements within assigned authority and company procedures.
- Keep insureds, agents, and other relevant parties informed about claim status.
- Document claims accurately in company systems and follow regulatory and internal standards.
- Take part in training and education to build claim-handling skills.
- Travel when needed for on-site investigations or meetings.
- Maintain punctual attendance at an approved work location according to the assigned schedule.
Cerințe
- A bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent combination of education and related experience.
- At least one year of related insurance or claims experience.
- Basic knowledge of casualty policy language.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to gather and interpret information to resolve claims effectively.
- Ability to manage time and tasks efficiently.
- Interpersonal skills for working with customers across varied situations.
- Must be able to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.
- Punctual attendance at a company-approved work location according to the assigned schedule.
