Casualty Claims Representative

Investigate, evaluate, and negotiate casualty claims for Auto-Owners Insurance. Hybrid work is available after in-person training, subject to approved work-location requirements.

Apraksts

  • Investigate assigned casualty claims by gathering statements, physical evidence, and legal records.
  • Review policy coverage and assess liability and damages.
  • Negotiate settlements within assigned authority and company procedures.
  • Keep insureds, agents, and other relevant parties informed about claim status.
  • Document claims accurately in company systems and follow regulatory and internal standards.
  • Take part in training and education to build claim-handling skills.
  • Travel when needed for on-site investigations or meetings.
  • Maintain punctual attendance at an approved work location according to the assigned schedule.

Prasības

  • A bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent combination of education and related experience.
  • At least one year of related insurance or claims experience.
  • Basic knowledge of casualty policy language.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to gather and interpret information to resolve claims effectively.
  • Ability to manage time and tasks efficiently.
  • Interpersonal skills for working with customers across varied situations.
  • Must be able to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.
  • Punctual attendance at a company-approved work location according to the assigned schedule.
