Junior Data Scientist, Supply Chain Analytics (Remote, U.S.)

Develop machine learning, forecasting, and AI solutions for Pursuit Aerospace’s aircraft engine supply chain. Build data workflows, dashboards, and decision tools that support inventory management and customer service.

  • Help build data, analytics, and AI solutions that advance SIOP transformation.
  • Use analysis to improve inventory outcomes and customer service.
  • Define supply chain questions with senior colleagues and business partners.
  • Prepare and analyze operational data.
  • Build and assess machine learning, statistical, forecasting, and time-series models.
  • Explore, clean, and prepare data; engineer features and validate model performance.
  • Turn analytical results into practical insights and recommendations for business teams.
  • Help develop AI applications, including generative AI and large language model tools.
  • Work across the data science process, from problem definition and data preparation to modeling, testing, visualization, and deployment.
  • Create and maintain analytical datasets and Python and SQL data workflows.
  • Combine data from multiple enterprise systems.
  • Build dashboards, analytical applications, and decision-support tools.
  • Apply standards for testing, version control, documentation, monitoring, and maintainable code.
  • Work with Product, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, and business stakeholders.
  • Help deliver data products such as Snowflake tables, forecasting models, inventory analytics, dashboards, and AI tools.
  • Check outputs, investigate data or model issues, document fixes, and contribute to ongoing improvement.
  • Profile operational datasets and investigate issues to improve data quality.
  • Explain analytical results and help teams adopt data-driven tools and recommendations.

Reikalavimai

  • Hold a bachelor’s degree.
  • Have at least one year of experience in data science, analytics, engineering, or a related quantitative role, using SQL and/or Python for data analysis, preparation, or analytical solution development.
  • Relevant internship, co-op, or research experience may count toward the experience requirement.
  • Be authorized to work full-time in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship.
  • Be able to perform work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations.
  • Move through a manufacturing plant while wearing required personal protective equipment.
  • Be able to sit, stand, and walk frequently.
  • Be able to lift and carry up to 15 pounds.
  • Be able to sit at a desk and work at a computer for extended periods.
  • Travel between locations or to suppliers up to 25% of the time.
