Senior GCP Data Engineer at Keyrus - Remote in Brazil

Senior Data Engineer responsible for building GCP pipelines and Lakehouse solutions at Keyrus. Integrate data and improve analytical platforms for clients.

Description

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable, efficient GCP data pipelines focused on BigQuery
  • Manage data ingestion from ERP systems, files, and APIs
  • Develop, optimize, and document dimensional models and analytical solutions within a Lakehouse architecture
  • Orchestrate and monitor ETL and ELT workflows with Informatica Cloud
  • Collaborate with Analytics, Data Science, and Product teams on data-driven solutions
  • Maintain data quality, governance, and security throughout the data lifecycle
  • Apply engineering standards for version control, automation, and testing
  • Tune queries and improve analytical environment performance
  • Coordinate requests and expectations with leadership, business teams, and other stakeholders
  • Contribute technically to the evolution of data practices, processes, and architecture

Requirements

  • Extensive experience with Google Cloud Platform
  • Strong proficiency in BigQuery
  • Experience orchestrating data pipelines with Informatica Cloud
  • Experience with DataStage and Apache Spark on Databricks
  • Understanding of Lakehouse analytical architectures
  • Experience with dimensional modeling and data warehousing
  • Experience integrating data from ERP systems, files, and APIs
  • Advanced SQL skills, including query optimization and performance tuning
  • Experience with data governance, quality, and security practices
  • Experience delivering complex projects with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Analysis Services is advantageous
  • Experience with graph databases, particularly Neo4j, is advantageous
  • Experience in multi-cloud or hybrid environments is advantageous
  • Experience with real-time data integration and streaming is advantageous
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies is advantageous
  • Experience applying DevOps practices to data engineering is advantageous
  • Excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ability to turn business requirements into practical, scalable solutions
  • Ability to influence decisions and establish trusted stakeholder relationships
  • Analytical approach with strong problem-solving skills
