Video Content Creator – Wonderbly, London Hybrid

Create social-first video, photography, and performance creative for Wonderbly’s personalised books and gifts. Own content from initial brief through shooting, editing, and final delivery.

Description

  • Translate creative briefs into attention-grabbing social content with a clear narrative
  • Film and edit short-form video for both paid and organic social channels
  • Produce content tailored to Instagram, TikTok, and Meta
  • Test different hooks, openings, formats, edits, and visual treatments
  • Develop product, lifestyle, UGC-style, and concept-driven creative
  • Create multiple edits, cutdowns, and variations from each shoot
  • Photograph products and deliver still-image assets
  • Repurpose creative for different formats, placements, and audiences
  • Plan and deliver smaller social-first productions from brief to final edit
  • Prepare shot lists, treatments, locations, props, and production plans
  • Direct creators, talent, and other contributors
  • Film social-first material during larger brand and campaign productions
  • Capture behind-the-scenes and product footage on set
  • Partner with Creative Strategy and Growth on performance-led briefs
  • Apply performance insights to refine hooks, formats, edits, and executions
  • Develop content variants for testing hooks, lengths, formats, and creative approaches
  • Keep a steady pipeline of new paid-social creative in production
  • Bring original creative concepts from briefing through execution
  • Build repeatable formats and ongoing content series
  • Collaborate with Creative Strategy, Growth, and channel owners on platform-appropriate creative
  • Develop strong stakeholder relationships and act constructively on feedback
  • Exchange ideas, expertise, and inspiration with the wider Creative team
  • Improve the efficiency of shooting and editing workflows
  • Organise and maintain a library of footage, photography, and completed assets
  • Coordinate with freelancers, creators, and production partners
  • Share expertise and help raise the team’s content standards

Requirements

  • Professional experience developing, filming, and editing social content, preferably in consumer, retail, DTC, or another fast-moving environment
  • A strong visual sensibility and solid command of composition, framing, lighting, pacing, and storytelling
  • Confidence filming video and carrying footage through to a polished final edit
  • Advanced editing ability with experience using relevant post-production software
  • A clear understanding of effective social content, especially for paid social
  • Ability to interpret creative briefs and collaborate with strategists, Growth, channel owners, and other stakeholders
  • Creative initiative combined with the ability to work within an established creative direction
  • Comfort working at speed, incorporating feedback, and iterating on work
  • Experience producing content featuring both products and people
  • Working knowledge of social formats, aspect ratios, and platform specifications
  • Ability to independently manage smaller projects from brief to delivery
  • Strong organisational skills with the capacity to handle several projects concurrently
  • A portfolio demonstrating capable shooting, editing, and visual storytelling
  • Ideally, experience developing UGC or creator-led content
  • Ideally, strong product and lifestyle photography skills
  • Ideally, experience producing paid-social or performance-marketing creative
  • Ideally, experience capturing social content alongside larger productions
  • Ideally, motion graphics or animation experience
  • Ideally, familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop
  • Ideally, an interest in practical AI tools that can improve creative workflows
