Senior FPGA Engineer – High-Speed Digital Design (Hybrid, Switzerland)

Description

  • Develop FPGA prototypes for high-speed PHY and SerDes digital designs
  • Help validate and bring up devices and FPGAs in the laboratory
  • Collaborate with Firmware, Digital Design, Verification, and Lab teams
  • Assist with design validation, testing, and technical troubleshooting
  • Improve development and validation tools and environments

Requirements

  • Bring at least 10 years of FPGA design and prototyping experience
  • Have substantial experience designing and prototyping FPGA blocks for multi-Gigabit serial and parallel data-link transceivers
  • Demonstrate advanced RTL coding ability, preferably with SystemVerilog
  • Use industry-standard FPGA tools for design, simulation, and verification
  • Program in Python or another scripting language for design validation and tool configuration
  • Possess a strong technical foundation in FPGA design, validation, and verification
  • Have experience developing high-speed digital blocks
  • Knowledge of high-speed interfaces or PCS is advantageous
  • Understand established verification methodologies
  • UVM experience is beneficial
  • Bring strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills
