- Lead contract-management operations and execution for assigned large health systems
- Coordinate with Field Sales Leadership, Commercial Strategy & Execution, SourceView, Offer Development, Legal, Healthcare Compliance, Finance, and other internal partners
- Oversee contracting, pricing, and day-to-day management of Ethicon Platforms across approximately 6–12 large health-system customers
- Support account-strategy planning with Area Leadership and local FSO teams
- Run contract operations that drive revenue growth, strengthen price performance, support new product introductions, and manage erosion
- Act as the SourceView super user for assigned IDNs and support priority IDNs with SourceView opportunities
- Track contract compliance and performance objectives through SourceView and Optimizer analytics
- Partner with KAM leadership to negotiate contractual offers and modifications
- Secure health-system access for priority product categories and new product introductions
- Develop relationships with economic decision-makers, Supply Chain, Value Analysis Committees, and other system-wide governance groups
- Oversee RFPs, contract renewals, deal development, and contract delivery
- Work with the AVP/RSM on final contract-term negotiations approved by Contract Management
- Coordinate with the broader IDN account team to advance Ethicon objectives
- Develop contract strategy and pricing across Ethicon platforms and product lines
- Maintain knowledge of Ethicon products, offerings, strategies, and business objectives
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required
- At least 7 years of demonstrated professional experience
- Strong understanding of the U.S. healthcare market, including industry trends, customer dynamics, and legal and compliance obligations
- Financial acumen, including knowledge of gross profit, erosion, and pricing effects
- Experience operating in a highly matrixed organization and influencing diverse stakeholders with an enterprise-wide perspective
- Ability to synthesize complex, competing inputs into an actionable contract strategy
- Strong analytical capability
- Highly effective interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to navigate differing viewpoints and priorities
- Relevant product expertise, including Ethicon Platforms and capital equipment
- Experience in contracting, marketing, sales, or sales management preferred
- Willingness and ability to travel domestically approximately 60%
