Senior Associate, Technology Operations – Enterprise Cloud Governance and Enablement

Senior Associate supporting Truist’s enterprise cloud governance, onboarding, and operational improvement across AWS and Azure. The role focuses on risk analysis, workflow automation, and compliant cloud service enablement.

Description

  • Support the adoption, governance, and enablement of enterprise cloud services
  • Work with business and technology teams on cloud onboarding, governance practices, operational readiness, and continuous improvement
  • Assess risks, trace dependencies, document requirements, and enhance processes for secure, compliant cloud adoption
  • Coordinate with cloud engineering, architecture, cybersecurity, risk, and application teams across AWS and Azure environments
  • Track operational performance, investigate issues, and recommend improvements to processes, tools, and workflows
  • Review data, reports, and system outputs to evaluate technology health, effectiveness, and lifecycle status
  • Perform root-cause analysis and assess dependencies across operational workflows
  • Recommend solutions and design improvements for tools, runbooks, and workflows
  • Use operational trends, risk indicators, and performance data to inform operations, resource planning, and technology strategy
  • Find opportunities to automate, improve tooling, and refine processes
  • Evaluate technology assets and services for lifecycle status, usage patterns, and operational impact
  • Assist with coordination involving vendors, partners, and adjacent teams
  • Apply and improve incident management, disaster recovery, and business continuity procedures
  • Take part in technical investigations and resolution efforts, documenting lessons for future improvements

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, a related technical field, or equivalent education, training, and professional experience
  • At least three years of progressive experience in technology operations
  • Working knowledge of IT infrastructure, cloud technologies, security, compliance, and risk management
  • Experience with technology governance
  • Background supporting enterprise cloud governance, enablement, onboarding, or cloud operations
  • At least three years of experience developing and administering ServiceNow solutions, workflows, and integrations for technology operations and cloud services
  • Proficiency with ServiceNow development, including JavaScript, Flow Designer, Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, and platform automation features
  • Experience with ServiceNow Request Management, Service Catalog, CMDB, Knowledge Management, Change Management, and workflow automation
  • Experience using REST and SOAP APIs, Integration Hub, system integrations, and automation for cloud onboarding and governance
  • Familiarity with AWS and Azure cloud services, account provisioning, operational practices, and governance requirements
  • Experience in Agile and DevOps environments, including support for cross-functional technology initiatives
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process improvement abilities
  • Ability to evaluate risks, dependencies, and operational effects
  • Clear communication and effective stakeholder management skills
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certification preferred
  • Additional ServiceNow or cloud certifications, including AWS, Azure, or ITIL, are advantageous
  • Fluency in English required
  • Must not require employer sponsorship for work visa status or employment authorization
