Lead back-office operations for a remote Direct Primary Care practice, including workflow design, prior authorizations, and patient support. Manage Elation, Spruce, Hint, medical records, referrals, and operational performance tracking.
Description
- Design, implement, and document complete back-office systems and standard operating procedures
- Administer workflows across Elation, Spruce, and Hint
- Define form routing, patient intake steps, and electronic signature processes across platforms
- Process prior authorizations, appeals, and coverage verification requests
- Communicate with patients clearly, patiently, and professionally
- Support intake forms and appointment scheduling while managing medical records and referrals
- Coordinate incoming and outgoing fax traffic
- Establish operational KPIs, organize back-office activities, and improve daily workflows as the practice expands
Requirements
- Extensive experience managing clinical or medical administration in the United States
- Demonstrated expertise in prior authorization processing and medical records management
- Strong experience developing operational processes, standard operating procedures, and KPI tracking
- Exceptionally clear spoken English for patient communication, including with an elderly patient population
- Availability for a full-time contractor schedule of 40 hours per week
- Availability Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Pacific Time
