Partner Development Manager, Germany (Remote)

Lead Cohere’s enterprise and public-sector AI partner strategy across Germany and the wider DACH region. Build alliances, enable co-selling, and support government AI initiatives through partner programs and joint market development.

Description

  • Own and deliver Cohere’s partner go-to-market strategy for enterprise and public-sector customers.
  • Work with the wider go-to-market organization to identify and recruit high-value partners, including system integrators, distributors, resellers, ISVs, cloud providers, and public-sector consultancies.
  • Build strategic relationships with government agencies, municipalities, public institutions, enterprises, and technology companies.
  • Lead partner onboarding, certification, and training initiatives.
  • Expand partner enablement through sales and technical workshops.
  • Develop co-selling programs, solution plays, and strategic joint go-to-market plans.
  • Create shared pipeline and pursue significant commercial and government contracting opportunities.
  • Ensure partner activities support Cohere’s strategic objectives, performance measures, compliance obligations, and reporting standards.
  • Facilitate joint business planning and quarterly partner business reviews.
  • Measure sourced and influenced ARR against established targets.
  • Share partner insights with Product, Engineering, and Legal teams.
  • Collaborate with Public Policy on government AI policy, regulation, risk management, and responsible AI practices.
  • Represent Cohere’s vision and solutions at partner and industry events.
  • Develop thought leadership through briefings, speaking opportunities, and collaborative initiatives focused on AI in government and public services.

Requirements

  • At least 8 years of experience in partner development, channel sales, or technology alliance management.
  • Experience with AI or cloud solutions is preferred, along with evidence of enterprise ARR contribution and public-sector partnerships.
  • Strong knowledge of public-sector organizations, government agencies, municipalities, enterprise markets, and relevant industry sectors.
  • Proven ability to build relationships, negotiate effectively, and deliver partner success.
  • Demonstrated experience with Sovereign Cloud go-to-market strategies.
  • Ability to manage complex regulatory and compliance environments, including AI ethics, government policy, and public-sector procurement.
  • Working knowledge of AI concepts such as large language models, retrieval-augmented generation, and agentic workflows.
  • Experience working with major system integrators, global consultancies, hyperscalers, and public-sector technology partners on joint go-to-market and co-selling initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Growth-oriented, results-focused approach with a bias toward action.
  • Comfort working at start-up speed in a dynamic, cross-cultural environment.
  • Must be authorized to work in the country of current residence.
