Key Account Manager – Wisconsin Remote

Manage strategic end-customer relationships for Axis Communications in the network security technology sector. Lead sales, technical design, implementation, partner coordination, and post-sale support.

Description

  • Act as Axis’s primary contact for assigned major end-customer accounts
  • Oversee account relationships from initial assignment through transition
  • Expand strategic account relationships across products, regions, and long-term business needs
  • Support sales and implementation through presentations, proposals, pilot installations, and integration testing
  • Manage relationships with end users and ecosystem partners
  • Form account teams and align resources and communication across sales, business development, marketing, and technical services
  • Create and maintain account records, including meeting notes, designs, CRM entries, and tracking tools
  • Contribute to account design through site surveys, camera recommendations, placement, field-of-view analysis, pixel calculations, drawings, system design, third-party recommendations, and integration
  • Keep product configurations and specifications accurate and up to date
  • Prepare weekly, biweekly, and monthly reports as needed
  • Coordinate post-sale technical support and assistance
  • Handle other related responsibilities as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, network engineering, or information systems
  • At least five years of experience in sales, national or key accounts, sales engineering, or project management, preferably in video or physical security
  • Strong account management and team-building capabilities
  • Demonstrated ability to develop trusted, strategic relationships with end users
  • Experience managing integrators, distributors, and other partners
  • Strong verbal, listening, writing, presentation, and training skills
  • Technical proficiency supporting shootouts, proof-of-concept work, pilots, and pre- and post-sale troubleshooting
  • Ability to explain complex technologies and specifications clearly
  • Experience producing design documentation such as schematics, flow charts, metrics, field-of-view details, and pixel calculations
  • Strong knowledge of physical security products, markets, and emerging trends
  • Understanding of video transport protocols and compression technologies
  • Salesforce experience is preferred
  • Ability to occasionally lift 20–40 pounds
  • Ability to climb and remain on ladders or lifts for extended periods
  • Ability to work at heights, including ceilings, ladders, and rooftops
  • Occasional travel of up to 60% is expected
  • Must live in the Eastern Wisconsin area
