Description

  • Develop real-time computer vision capabilities such as multi-object tracking, detection, classification, and segmentation.
  • Evaluate, diagnose, retrain, and fine-tune in-house models to improve their performance.
  • Create high-performance, documented production software mainly in C++, using Python for research and experimentation.
  • Work with backend and frontend engineers to connect the vision pipeline with the wider platform.
  • Conduct code reviews and support the development of other engineers through mentoring.
  • Help shape the vision stack’s technical direction through research findings and new ideas.

Requirements

  • At least two years of practical experience building and deploying computer vision applications in production.
  • Use C++ confidently for production development and Python for research and development.
  • Apply sound software engineering practices, including version control, CI/CD, and unit testing.
  • Bring advanced knowledge of OpenCV or similar computer vision libraries.
  • Have strong foundations in algorithms and mathematics, particularly geometry, optimisation, and probability.
  • Hold a Master’s degree or equivalent practical expertise in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related CV/ML field.
  • Be familiar with Linux and video-processing tools such as FFmpeg or GStreamer.
  • Experience developing deep-learning models with PyTorch or TensorFlow is desirable.
  • Experience working with real-time or low-latency video pipelines is desirable.
  • Background in sports video, broadcast systems, or sports analytics is a plus.
