Software Developer Analyst – Waterloo Hybrid

Build casino analytics software at Tangam Systems using C#, .NET, data pipelines and cloud tools. Develop automated solutions, dashboards and full-stack applications in a hybrid Waterloo role.

Description

  • Build scalable data pipelines with C# and .NET Core.
  • Automate processes that are manual, slow or prone to errors.
  • Develop internal dashboards and full-stack applications with Angular, TypeScript, .NET Core and Node.js.
  • Translate complex operational data into useful insights for internal teams.
  • Build, deploy and maintain high-performance services with Azure, Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Assess and adopt tools and practices as part of an agile team.
  • Contribute to the technology stack and plans for scaling it.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of professional software development experience, with a focus on clean, maintainable code.
  • Experience developing full-stack applications, backend logic, data processing or ETL pipelines, and user interfaces.
  • Proficiency in C# and .NET Core, TypeScript, or modern web frameworks; Angular or Node.js experience is preferred.
  • Solid knowledge of SQL and database systems, including MS SQL and MySQL.
  • A degree or diploma in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
  • Familiarity or practical experience with cloud infrastructure and DevOps tools such as Azure, Docker and Kubernetes is an asset.
  • Interest or experience in AI, large language models or automated agents is an asset.
  • A portfolio, GitHub profile or code samples are preferred.
  • Candidates must complete a technical test or coding assessment.
  • Able to work in Waterloo three days per week.
